Earning her master’s degrees in education and public health, Kriztian believes that knowledge is a powerful tool in disease prevention.

She is excited to engage and equip students, teachers, and community members with disease prevention strategies.

So far, Kriztian has learned that there are a lot of misconceptions around vectors, but that community members are receptive and excited to propel the agency’s public health mission.

Education Specialist Kriztian Luna's goal is to develop hands-on lessons for grades 6-12 that exposes students to current vector control approaches and encourages them to pursue STEAM and public health careers.
