Area-wide Pesticide Treatments
Public health and safety is our number one priority.
Area-wide pesticide treatments are reserved for severe conditions, including abnormal mosquito population spikes and public health emergencies.
These treatments are made with a truck-mounted applicator that disperses an ultra-low volume mist into the air. All of the pesticides we use are registered with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and are chosen based on their ability to have a maximum effect on mosquito larvae or mosquito adults while having a minimal effect on humans, pets, and the environment.
This page was created as a resource for the community to get the most up-to-date information about the pesticide treatments executed by this District, both completed in the past and planned for the future.
